Episode Theme: Generational Trauma - It’s Bigger Than Us.

It’s really quite simple sometimes - the experiences we are having are rooted in something larger than us. Think about the lives our grandmothers and great grandmothers were living - days most likely rooted through depressions and world wars. Think about your own famiial experiences - think about how different their lives were to yours today. Those lessons and narratives we recieve consciously and subconsciously from our own parents come from the lessons and narratives they in turn received from their parents. And while we are challenging those narratives in stride there are many that are held within our bodies that we may not be aware of. So with that, I say give yourself some grace; allow yourself to be present and get curious about what you might be carrying that is no longer yours to hold.

The Dark Hour, Generational Trauma, and Putting Ourselves First with Lindsay Roselle: What if we put ourselves first on our list of priorities? For Lindsay, it has made ALL the difference in her ability to give her best to her family, her work, and even herself.  Take a listen to this episode to hear her experience with how to do just that.

Building a Mobile Airstream Business and the Power of Trusting Ourselves with Lindsay Dickerhoof: We can’t do everything. We can’t be watching our kids 24/7 while also micromanaging every aspect of our work lives. To a point, we just have to have faith that the people around us will hold us up. So much of our conversation has to do with trust, and how important it was for her to grow her business and be the mom she wanted to be.

Lifting Each Other Up and Saying Goodbye to Mom Guilt with Corina Tripon: If you have even an ember of desire to start a business or nurture your ambitions, this episode is for you. Guilt is one of the most difficult obstacles working moms face, but we can still choose our careers AND our children. It’s a myth as old as time itself – but Corina has beautiful advice to share for working around it.

Mom’s are you doing it all?: Our society doesn’t support time for rest and healing from illness; there’s this belief instilled in us that we must power through anyway. So this episode is for the moms who feel they must “do it all” – I get curious about where this belief comes from and am here to remind you that resting may just be the most productive thing you do today.
