Episode Theme: Trust. It Starts with You
Sometimes it’s easy to get wrapped up in the external narrative for motherhood - what it should look like, what other women’s experiences look like, etc. And who can blame us really - we are bombarded daily with this idyllic narrative of motherhood - the glowing pregnancy, the unmedicated labor, the immediate love and bliss when we hold our babies for the first time. For some, that can be the experience, but for many, myself included, this journey looked a whole lot different and, at time, a lot lot darker than I imagined it to be.
These episodes listed below follow that theme as these women share their very real experiences with motherhood and how WE are the first line in creating what it is we want for ourselves and our experience.

Becoming Still and Trusting the Timeline with Hannah Abad: While all of our experiences with motherhood and entrepreneurship can look quite different, we can all benefit from taking a breath, a pause to get really clear on what it is we truly need. Hannah’s story shares her resilience from a bad car accident to a high complication pregnancy and former workaholic and perfectionist tendencies.
Lifting Each Other Up and Saying Goodbye to Mom Guilt with Corina Tripon: If you have even an ember of desire to start a business or nurture your ambitions, this episode is for you. Guilt is one of the most difficult obstacles working moms face, but we can still choose our careers AND our children. It’s a myth as old as time itself – but Corina has beautiful advice to share for working around it.
Building a Mobile Airstream Business and the Power of Trusting Ourselves with Lindsay Dickerhoof: We can’t do everything. We can’t be watching our kids 24/7 while also micromanaging every aspect of our work lives. To a point, we just have to have faith that the people around us will hold us up. So much of our conversation has to do with trust and how important it was for Lindsay to grow her business and be the mom she wanted to be.
Place to Feel Like Ourselves with The Lullabar Co-Founders Stephanie and Christine: In this episode, we discuss all things motherhood, business, and the idea to create a space where moms can just feel like themselves for a few hours – no childcare coordination necessary.
Mom Energy and Relinquishing Control with Hillary Elliott: Hillary and I talk intensely about mom energy, relinquishing control, pursuing a career you’re passionate about, and how, sometimes the universe has a funny way of just working itself out.
Taking Up Space and Allowing Ourselves to Just Be: Sometimes the most productive thing we can do for ourselves and our families is to listen and to rest when our bodies call for it. In this episode, I give a peek behind the scenes into my own inner callings: for us moms who already “do” beyond the comprehension of money and beyond the hours of a typical job, at what point can we just soften into ‘being’?
