While physically, we get a lot of support during our pregnancy with all those OB appointments, I don’t believe we prepare ourselves enough for the change that occurs for us emotionally and mentally. Our bodies will change. How we relate to others has changed. How we see ourselves will mostly likely change. I know for me I spent 10 months preparing for my baby’s arrival, but I didn’t think to set myself up for success personally - mentally or emotionally - once she arrived.
